    Effective contact tracing is critical as Singapore take steps to open up. A good contact tracing programme helps to halt the spread of the disease by quickly identifying close contacts, providing early treatment and isolating them effectively. This will enable transmissions to be well-contained, so that we do not have to go back into circuit breaker mode again due to an uncontrolled outbreak.

  • NParks and SNDGG trial SPOT robot for safe distancing operations at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park

    The National Parks Board (NParks) and the Smart Nation and Digital Government Group (comprising Smart Nation and Digital Government Office and Government Technology Agency) are conducting a pilot trial of a four-legged robot called SPOT to assist safe distancing efforts at parks, gardens and nature reserves managed by NParks, including Park Connectors, Pulau Ubin, as well as parks managed by town councils.

    The first tranche of recommendations from the Public Sector Data Security Review Committee has been implemented on schedule. This includes the launch of a microsite for the public to access information on the Government’s data security policies and measures, and a new central platform for members of the public to report data incidents related to Government agencies.
